Rafael’s Legacy Lives On
Rafael Moreno was a ChiBall Master Trainer whose passion for movement and teaching touched lives around the world. He created the Dance of the Dragon choreography, featured in our downloadable video and YouTube preview.
Rafael passed away in 2007 and in memory of this wonderful ambassador for the ChiBall values and in consultation with his family we created the Rafeal Moreno Scholarship. This scholarship has become a living tribute to Rafael’s generosity, joy, and embodiment of ChiBall’s core values: Simplicity, Innovation, Authenticity, Passion, and Respect.
We honour Rafael’s memory by supporting those who carry his vision forward—sharing movement, mindfulness, and emotional wellbeing with their communities.
The Rafael Moreno Scholarship is more than an award—it’s a tribute to the spirit of generosity, creativity, and community that defines ChiBall®. Inspired by Master Trainer Rafael Moreno, this scholarship supports wellness professionals who embody the values of movement, mindfulness, and service.
Celebrating Our Scholarship Recipients
Over the years we have received many applications that are assessed by our training team. In response to the challenges faced by wellness professionals during and after the Covid crisis, we were able to offer a little hope—and a lot of heart. Six inspiring individuals have been awarded the Rafael Moreno Scholarship:

Each recipient receives full access to the four-part ChiBall Teacher Training course—valued at $499—and joins a global community of educators committed to sharing movement and mindfulness in their local communities.
