Rafael Moreno Scholarship Winners
This year we received an unprecidented number of applications for the Annual Rafael Moreno Scholarship program. Our industry has been hit particularly hard by the Covid Crisis with many wellness professionals unable to work. In response we have been able to offer a little hope to some of the leaders in wellness and we are delighted to announce that six applicants have been awarded this year’s Rafael Moreno Scholarship.
Congratulations to the following inspirational people on being awarded this year’s Rafael Moreno Scholarships
- Renay Jacobs – Hertfordshire,UK
- Lyndsay Murray – Northern Ireland
- Debbie Ansell – NSW, Australia
- Diane Hollebone – NSW Australia
- Tina Dale – Adelaide, Australia
- Michelle Brown -Liverpool, UK
This scholarship was inspired by ChiBall Master Trainer, Rafael Moreno, and his love of sharing the gift of movement, including with people who are challenged in funding their further education in this area. Rafael created the Dance of the Dragon Choreography and features in the Video available for imediate download from our online store. You can watch a short sample of the video from the Dance of the Dragon.
Sadly, Rafael passed away in 2007. This scholarship programme was created as a symbol of his colleagues’ admiration for him, his generosity of spirit, love of life and embodiment of the values of The ChiBall Method™.
Rafael touched many people’s lives and so with this scholarship we honour his memory in a way that continues to carry his vision forward and share his passion with the world.
The scholarship is open to applicants who can demonstrate a commitment to benefiting their local community with movement and mindfulness. The Shcolarship offers full access to all Four parts of the standard ChiBall Teacher Training course valued at $499.
Congratulations once again to this year’s recipients, we look forward to hearing about your ChiBall Journey.
