Spring ChiBall Class
A Spring ChiBall class aims to move Chi, clearing away stagnation and stress, leaving participants feeling refreshed and energised.
In this course we explore and develop a ChiBall Class based around the Wood Element and the season of Spring. The Wood Element exists within us as it does everywhere in nature. Birth, growth, future, visions, and hope, are all concepts associated with Wood. Wood is associated with one’s capacity to look forward, plan, and make decisions. Activity expresses itself-in all parts of our body, mind and spirit. Movement and purpose, upward and forward, describe the growth of Wood.
In the Five Element system, Wood signifies creation, growth, life, birth, new beginnings, and development. The spirit of the Wood element is aspiration – the ability to envision our future in the world-with hope and excitement. When this spirit of aspiration is lacking or dysfunctional, disharmonies can occur. The season associated with the Wood Element is Spring. It’s a time when Nature experiences a rapid growth spurt, bringing renewal and life. The seeds that have been in hibernation, dormant throughout the cold of Winter, blossom with the warmer weather and longer days of Spring.
Working to bring balance to Wood can renew vitality and vigour to all aspects of a person’s experience.
